What's wrong here?

Okay so the world is out to get me. In the past week, my cat was killed and my iPod fell in Lake Michigan and broke. What gives? Okay, so I haven't gone to church in, like, a year, but so what? I'm not religious, and respect the elements of every major religion. Is this my punishment? Or is it just my horrible karma, which has been getting worse. It's horrible how I seem to attract bad things, when I have absolutely NO BAD INTENTIONS! What the hell am I doing wrong?
